The arrival of the US-origin LPG shipment comes as the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways reported on Friday that cargo-related charges at major ports in India have been reduced to provide relief to the supply chain. The move is likely an effort to ensure adequate LPG supplies reach consumers amid reports of shortages in several Indian cities.
