By MGN EditorialMarch 11, 2026 at 12:34 PM

OneSubsea, a joint venture backed by SLB, Aker Solutions and Subsea7, has secured its third contract with PTTEP in the past year, highlighting the company's growing presence in the offshore energy market.

In the latest development, OneSubsea has announced that it has secured a new contract with Thailand's national oil and gas company, PTTEP. This marks the third contract between the two companies within the past 12 months, underscoring the strong partnership and the trust PTTEP has placed in OneSubsea's capabilities. According to the announcement, the new contract will see OneSubsea provide subsea production systems and associated services for PTTEP's offshore projects. The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, and delivery of subsea trees, subsea control systems, and other critical equipment. "This latest contract win with PTTEP is a testament to the strong relationship we have built over the years and the trust they have placed in our capabilities," said Olivier Le Peuch, CEO of SLB. "It also highlights the growing demand for our integrated subsea solutions as the industry continues to focus on improving operational efficiency and reducing emissions." The news comes as the global offshore energy market continues to recover from the pandemic-induced downturn, with operators increasingly focusing on projects that can deliver cost-effective and sustainable solutions. OneSubsea's track record of delivering reliable and innovative subsea technologies has positioned the company as a preferred partner for many leading oil and gas companies in the region. "The offshore energy industry is undergoing a significant transformation, with a growing emphasis on sustainability and operational efficiency," said Morten Brandtzæg, CEO of Aker Solutions. "Our partnership with PTTEP demonstrates our ability to provide tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and contribute to the industry's decarbonization efforts." The latest contract win further solidifies OneSubsea's position as a leading provider of subsea technologies and services in the Asia-Pacific region, where the company has been actively expanding its footprint in recent years.
