Petrobras has awarded a two-year contract extension valued at $56 million to Solstad Maritime for the provision of construction support vessel (CSV) services, according to Offshore Energy. Solstad Maritime, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker SOMA, operates one of the industry's largest fleets of specialized vessels serving the global offshore energy market. The extension with Petrobras reflects the operator's ongoing capital expenditure in maintaining and developing its offshore production infrastructure.
