PSEG, a major energy company, has been honored with several national awards for its commitment to corporate responsibility and community engagement.

Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), a leading energy company, has been recognized with several prestigious national awards for its outstanding corporate citizenship and community impact efforts. According to a press release from the company, PSEG was named the JUST Capital 2026 Industry Leader for Utilities, ranking among the Top 10 on Newsweek's America's Most Responsible Companies, and honored as one of Newsweek's America's Most Charitable Companies. 'These awards are a testament to PSEG's longstanding commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen and making a positive difference in the communities we serve,' said PSEG Chairman and CEO Ralph Izzo. 'We are proud to be recognized for our efforts to create value for all our stakeholders - our customers, employees, shareholders and the public.' The JUST Capital ranking evaluates the largest publicly traded companies in the U.S. on issues like worker pay, benefits, and treatment, as well as environmental impact, customer treatment, and community investment. Newsweek's America's Most Responsible Companies list recognizes corporate sustainability and social responsibility performance. PSEG, which provides electricity and gas service to 2.3 million customers in New Jersey, has a strong track record of community engagement and environmental stewardship. The company has invested heavily in renewable energy projects, grid modernization, and programs to assist low-income customers and support local nonprofits. 'These accolades demonstrate PSEG's leadership in the energy sector and its commitment to being a force for good,' said gCaptain editor John Konrad. 'As the maritime industry continues to focus on sustainability and social responsibility, PSEG's example provides a model for how companies can drive positive change.'
