Dutch offshore vessel owner SeaMar has locked in a new long-term contract with Eni Energy Netherlands for its diving support vessel SeaMar Splendid.
In a significant move, Dutch offshore vessel owner SeaMar has secured a new long-term contract with Eni Energy Netherlands B.V. for its diving support vessel SeaMar Splendid. The contract, which will commence in March, will see the vessel continue to support inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) work on the Dutch Continental Shelf, according to a report from Splash247.
The multi-year agreement represents a strong vote of confidence in SeaMar's capabilities and the reliability of its fleet. The SeaMar Splendid has been supporting Eni's operations in the region for some time, and the renewal of this contract suggests the vessel and its crew have delivered consistent, high-quality service.
"We are delighted to extend our partnership with Eni and continue supporting their offshore operations in the Dutch North Sea," said a SeaMar spokesperson. "This contract is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we look forward to many more years of successful collaboration."
The news comes at a time of heightened activity and investment in the North Sea offshore energy sector, as operators work to maximize production from existing fields and develop new discoveries. Reliable, capable vessels like the SeaMar Splendid will be in high demand to support critical infrastructure maintenance and upgrades.
This contract win reinforces SeaMar's position as a leading provider of offshore support services in the region. The company's fleet of specialized vessels, combined with its experienced crews and operational expertise, have made it a trusted partner for major energy companies like Eni.
