Shanghai Electric Launches First Large-Scale Biometanol Bunkering Service for International Shipping

Shanghai Electric has announced the successful launch of the world's first large-scale biometanol bunkering supply service for international maritime transport, with biometanol from its Taonan project successfully delivered to the CMA CGM OSMIUM container vessel at Shanghai's Yangshan Port this month. The development represents a major step forward in the maritime industry's transition toward sustainable fuels and decarbonization.
