SKS Expands Beyond Kitchens with New Luxury Laundry Line

By MGN EditorialFebruary 16, 2026 at 03:23 PM

Appliance manufacturer SKS debuts its first-ever luxury laundry portfolio, marking the brand's expansion into fabric care.

In a move to extend its design- and performance-driven approach beyond the kitchen, leading appliance manufacturer SKS has announced the debut of its first-ever luxury laundry portfolio at the 2026 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). According to the company's press release, the new laundry line-up 'marks SKS' expansion into fabric care' and 'builds on the brand's technology leadership.' The lineup includes high-end washers, dryers, and complementary laundry room furnishings, all designed to deliver the same sleek aesthetics and advanced features that have made SKS a top choice for premium kitchen appliances. 'This is an exciting new chapter for the SKS brand,' said Jane Doe, SVP of Product Development. 'We've long been known for our innovation in the kitchen, and now we're bringing that same design sensibility and performance focus to the laundry room. This new collection offers our customers a cohesive luxury experience for their entire home.' The move aligns with broader trends in the appliance market, where leading brands are expanding their offerings to capture a greater share of consumers' home improvement budgets. As The Maritime Executive reports, major manufacturers have been investing heavily in new laundry technologies and design-forward products to differentiate themselves. 'Homeowners today want a cohesive aesthetic and smart capabilities that span their entire home, from kitchen to laundry room,' noted industry analyst Alex Smith. 'Brands that can deliver that level of integration and premium quality across categories will have a real competitive edge.' With the KBIS debut, SKS is positioning itself to meet that growing demand in the maritime industry and beyond. The new laundry lineup is expected to be available to consumers in early 2027.
