Swedish HVAC manufacturer Systemair sees sales decline in Q3 2025/26 amid currency headwinds and slowing demand.

Systemair AB, a leading global manufacturer of air conditioning and ventilation equipment, has reported its financial results for the third quarter of the 2025/26 fiscal year. The company saw its net sales decrease by 5.9% to SEK 2,862 million, with the currency effect accounting for an 8.7% decline. According to the interim report, Systemair's organic growth was 1.0% during the quarter, down from 5.4% in the same period last year. The company attributed the sales decline to 'challenging market conditions', with the ongoing global economic uncertainty and supply chain disruptions impacting demand across its key markets. 'The third quarter was characterized by continued uncertainty in the global economy, which has affected demand in several of our markets,' said Roland Kasper, CEO of Systemair. 'We are working actively to adapt our operations to the current market situation and maintain our competitiveness.' Despite the sales decline, Systemair reported an adjusted operating profit (adj. EBIT) of SEK 196 million for the quarter, representing a margin of 6.8%. The company said it remains focused on cost control and operational efficiency to navigate the challenging environment. The maritime industry has been closely watching Systemair's performance, as the company's air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems are widely used on commercial vessels, offshore platforms, and port facilities. The Q3 results underscore the headwinds facing many industrial manufacturers serving the global maritime sector amid the broader economic slowdown. Looking ahead, Systemair stated that it will continue to monitor market conditions closely and make necessary adjustments to its business to mitigate the impact of the current challenges. The company remains committed to its long-term growth strategy and investments in sustainable product development. (Source: PR Newswire)
