Swedish HVAC manufacturer Systemair AB sees 5.9% drop in Q3 sales, citing currency effects, in latest financial report.
Systemair AB, a leading global manufacturer of ventilation products and solutions, has reported its financial results for the third quarter of the 2025/26 fiscal year. The company saw a 5.9% decrease in net sales to SEK 2,862 million, with the currency effect accounting for an 8.7% drop.
According to the report, Systemair's organic growth was 1.0% during the quarter, down from 5.4% in the same period last year. The company attributed the decline in sales to 'challenging market conditions,' though it did not provide further details.
'The third quarter was a challenging period for Systemair, with a decline in net sales compared to the previous year,' said Roland Kasper, CEO of Systemair. 'We continue to focus on cost control and operational efficiency to navigate the current market environment.'
Despite the drop in sales, Systemair's adjusted operating profit (adj. EBIT) remained relatively stable at SEK 227 million, compared to SEK 239 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
The report comes as the global HVAC industry faces headwinds from supply chain disruptions, rising material costs, and economic uncertainty. Systemair's performance reflects the broader challenges facing maritime-adjacent industries, which are grappling with the impacts of geopolitical tensions, inflationary pressures, and shifting consumer demand.
As a key supplier to the maritime sector, Systemair's financial results provide insight into the health of the broader industry. The company's ability to maintain profitability amid the current market conditions will be closely watched by industry analysts and stakeholders.
