Timken Expands Automated Lubrication Capabilities with Bijur Delimon Acquisition

By MGN EditorialMarch 19, 2026 at 12:12 PM

Timken Company acquires Bijur Delimon International, a leading provider of automated lubrication systems, to broaden its industrial motion and engineered bearings offerings.

In a move to strengthen its position in the industrial automation and lubrication systems market, The Timken Company has announced the acquisition of Bijur Delimon International (BDI), a North Carolina-based provider of automated lubrication systems. According to the press release, the acquisition will allow Timken to 'broaden its automated lubrication systems capabilities' and expand its portfolio of engineered bearings and industrial motion products and services. Bijur Delimon is a leading manufacturer of centralized and automatic lubrication systems used across a variety of industrial applications, including maritime equipment and machinery. 'This acquisition aligns with our strategy to grow our industrial businesses and expand our capabilities in key areas like automated lubrication,' said Richard G. Kyle, Timken president and chief executive officer. 'Bijur Delimon's strong brand, complementary product portfolio and talented team make it an excellent addition to Timken.' The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed. This move follows Timken's recent acquisition of Cone Drive, another industrial motion control business, as the company looks to bolster its position in the growing industrial automation and lubrication market. The maritime industry has increasingly adopted automated lubrication systems to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance worker safety. Timken's expanded capabilities in this area should be welcomed by shipowners, port operators, and other maritime stakeholders looking to optimize the performance and longevity of critical machinery and systems.
