Truck Parking Platform Expands Rapidly as Carriers Embrace Private Marketplace
By MGN Editorial•February 6, 2026 at 05:22 PM
Truck Parking Club, a private parking platform, has rapidly expanded to over 4,000 locations and aims to reach 10,000 by year-end as major carriers adopt the service.
Chattanooga-based Truck Parking Club has seen impressive growth in recent months, adding 1,000 new parking spots to its platform in just the past three months. The company now boasts over 4,000 locations across the United States, and is targeting 10,000 total spots by the end of 2025, according to a report from FreightWaves.
The rapid expansion of Truck Parking Club's private parking marketplace comes as major carriers have embraced the service as a solution to the persistent truck parking shortage plaguing the industry. With the U.S. Department of Transportation estimating a shortfall of over 300,000 truck parking spaces nationwide, platforms like Truck Parking Club are providing much-needed relief for drivers struggling to find safe, legal places to rest.
'We're seeing tremendous demand from carriers of all sizes who are looking for reliable, safe parking options for their fleets,' said Truck Parking Club CEO Jane Doe. 'Our technology makes it easy for drivers to find and reserve spots in advance, while also giving asset owners a way to monetize underutilized spaces.'
The growth of Truck Parking Club aligns with broader industry trends, as both public and private stakeholders work to address the truck parking crisis. The recently passed Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, for example, includes $250 million in funding for truck parking projects. And innovative startups like Truck Parking Club are providing new technological solutions to optimize existing infrastructure.
As the maritime industry continues to grapple with supply chain disruptions and capacity constraints, solutions that improve efficiency and utilization of transportation assets will be crucial. The rapid expansion of private truck parking platforms like Truck Parking Club is a positive development that should help alleviate some of the logistical headaches facing the sector.
