TransparentSea Limited is a company that was established by a ship management company (Wallem) and a leading Maritime Administration (Liberian Registry) with an aim to promote transparency and contribute to the prevention of maritime accidents. For this purpose, TransparentSea Limited developed the TransparentSea Reporting Solution (TRS) line of products.

TransparentSea Limited is a company that was established by a ship management company (Wallem) and a leading Maritime Administration (Liberian Registry) with an aim to promote transparency and contribute to the prevention of maritime accidents. For this purpose, TransparentSea Limited developed the TransparentSea Reporting Solution (TRS) line of products. The concept behind the TRS line of products was to enable Flag States, Classification Societies Port State Control Authorities, and other interested parties to have ready access to vessel condition reports. This prevents “unsuitable vessels” from taking an unfair advantage over quality vessels in an already competitive industry. The TRS line of products comprise of a full-featured report builder, media-enabled report viewer, and an online repository. TRS can perform either as an intranet-based application (company’s internal use) or as an industry wide vessel condition knowledgebase. Applying TRS either way enables users to visualize vessel condition reports. These reports can later be published, shared, and accessed by different parties such as: ·Port State Control Authorities ·Ship Owners ·Ship Managers ·Ship Brokers ·Financial Institutions ·And Accident Investigation Teams to name a few.
