International Marine Consultants (IMC) is a multi disciplined organization capable of providing technical service and assistance to customers involved with the transportation of crude oil, petroleum products and chemicals.

International Marine Consultants (IMC) has been in continuous operation since inception in July of 1980. In 1997 International Marine Consultants (UK) Ltd. was established as an affiliate to offer the same services on a more local basis to our European customers. IMC’s UK office achieved ISO 9002:1994 accreditation in February of 1999. As part of our process of continuous quality development we will be changing to the new standard (ISO 9001:2000) during the latter part of 2001. IMC currently offers a wide range of Marine Technical Services to various customers, including major oil and trading companies. These services have been provided on a worldwide basis. IMC is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Petroleum Institute and Intertanko, thereby remaining current on the latest industry developments. As a full service Marine Consulting and Technical Services company IMC specializes in providing its’ clientele with experienced and qualified consultants to attend vessels and facilities worldwide to troubleshoot and resolve problems. IMC has been especially successful in placing personnel in remote locations for extended periods to oversee and supervise various clients’ operations. Each IMC office is staffed with sufficient personnel during business hours to handle any customer inquiry. Additionally, all customers are provided with a single telephone number for 24 hour, around the clock communication with Managers and Technical Personnel. Response time to critical inquiries, both during and after business hours, is assured through IMC’s unique setup and organization.
