Definition of Risk: “Bad things happen, people could get blamed” or “Good things happen, people may not know.” Risk Management challenges and performance objectives go hand-in-hand for a global organization, post 9/11 and post Sarbanes Oxley, taking everything from Governance Performance, Compliance, Fraud, Cyber Crime, Concept Theft, Workplace Discrimination and Confidentiality Breaches into account as contemporary threats in today's business world. However, the traditional deterrents of stand-alone manual, or isolated, internal control processes, periodic audits, specialty devices and electronic barriers no longer meet the needs of these high-risk business environments. The horizontal, organization-wide thinking of "Integrated Risk Management" is essential for survival, performance and sustained success. Integrated risk management is the consideration of all risks to an organization and the creation of responses that utilize current assets and consider the entire organization before program implementation. It includes a fundamental shift from a vertical, top-down, organizational structure and thought pattern to one that is horizontal and company inclusive. A risk in one department is a risk to the entire organization and must be considered as such. The result is enhanced performance of an organization through risk management solutions that in turn provide efficient, low-cost, sustained competitive advantage. Risk Analysis Group (RAG) is the only solutions provider with this sophisticated approach to financial security, physical security and overall risk management. Our goal is to be the premiere authority in ethics-based Corporate Governance, Corporate Performance, IT security information and threat assesment for the domestic and international business community organized into three main segments: • Financial Risk Management and Corporate Performance • IT Security • Organizational/Physical Security A Los Angeles-based international consulting services and solutions provider, Risk Analysis Group has made a science of integrated risk management. The new standard. The original concept of SalvageSale was simple but revolutionary: create an online marketplace for salvage buyers and sellers to come together in a transparent environment and let them determine fair market value; allow product expertise and technology to bring more buyers to each auction. Today, the genesis of SalvageSale has evolved into the gold standard: our nationwide services network, global marketplace and consistently proven results makes us the trusted partner to insurance professionals, risk managers and asset managers. Global reach redefines competition. Historically, salvage auctions were conducted at the local level. This meant a limited number of buyers participated in each sale, often leaving the seller with only a fraction of the product's fair market value. And most salvage and surplus buyers lacked access to a predictable source of supply. By connecting sellers - insurance companies, transportation companies, retailers, corporate asset managers - with a vast source of domestic and international buyers, SalvageSale has created the preeminent salvage and surplus marketplace. By matching a reliable source of salvage and surplus with buyers from all over the world, the SalvageSale marketplace enables free market competition and delivers greater returns. With each sale, SalvageSale applies its proprietary bidXchangeTM auction format, which ensures fair competition among bidders and full visibility for all sellers. First, we create a detailed product listing that showcases the product's features and history. For specialized products, our highly skilled buyer outreach department brings in new buyers by searching for potential markets and product applications. For commodity products, our market makers tap into our global base of buyers who have expressed an interest in a specific product category. In the auction, integrity is the fundamental element. Both buyers and sellers can watch the auction unfold real-time. And when the auction closes, we ensure both the buyer and seller are equally protected by handling all payments through an escrow account. In addition, detailed reporting on the auction results is made available to the seller. Our seller members include: Property and casualty insurance, marine insurance, inland marine insurance, shipping lines, railroads, trucking companies, retail distributors, manufacturers, and corporate asset managers. Our buyer members include: Both domestic and international product end-users, brokers, re-manufacturers, used equipment buyers, distributors, and purchasing managers.

TECO Ocean Shipping is the ocean transportation connection in the TECO Transport family of companies. TECO Ocean Shipping carries coal and other bulk commodities within the Gulf of Mexico and to ports around the world. Established in 1959 to carry coal from Louisiana to Tampa for Tampa Electric, its sister company, TECO Ocean Shipping is the largest dry bulk ocean carrier operating under the U.S. flag. Today, TECO Ocean Shipping transports coal, phosphate, potash, corn, steel, soybeans, wheat, rice, sorghum, sugar and limestone to Central and South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and Northern Europe, as well as to the east and west coasts of the United States. The company currently operates twelve oceangoing tug-barge units and three ships that range in size from 19,200 to 42,800 deadweight tons (DWT) and have a total shipping capacity of over 450,000 DWT. In addition, TECO Ocean Shipping barges are covered and compartmentalized to enable shippers the ability to transport one or more commodities on the same voyage. TECO Ocean Shipping operates several large self-unloading barges using a variety of systems. Vessels not equipped with self-discharging gear have sufficient clear deck space on board for truck cranes, vacuvators, bagging equipment, bobcats or tractors and other equipment. This gives TECO Ocean Shipping vessels the flexibility to handle the many types and volumes of cargo. TECO Ocean Shipping has set the pushing gear standard in the marine industry. The company uses the Artubar and Bludworth systems. With the Bludworth system, the tug is connected to the barge with hydraulics between the barge’s stern and tug’s bow. The Artubar system is similar, but the tug is attached to the barge by 70-inch diameter steel pins. Both systems increase the speed at sea to reduce weather sensitivity and enhance reliability of on-time delivery. With these systems, the units can travel farther before requiring additional bunkers. This means tug-barge units can travel distances previously only covered by ships. TECO Ocean Shipping has also set a standard for dedication to marine safety. TECO Ocean Shipping has gone beyond the minimum to qualify many of its vessels and its shoreside practices for the ISM, International Safety Management Code. This is an industry standard designed to prevent injury to personnel, damage to the environment and to property. TECO Ocean Shipping has also taken a leadership role in complying with the RCP, the Responsible Carrier Program. This is a national set of "best practices" designed by the American Waterways Operators to improve marine safety and environmental protection for inland and coastal towing industries. By its leadership in these programs, TECO Ocean Shipping offers a recognizable level of quality that our customers can count on. As part of the TECO Transport family, TECO Ocean Shipping has access to two sister companies which complete the TECO Transport water transportation network: TECO Bulk Terminal, the largest coal storage and transfer terminal on the Gulf Coast; and TECO Barge Line, an inland river-barge company.
